This was recommended by a friend in Paris and we were fortunate enough to get a table as it was really busy. We had a light lunch. My parents had the quiche Lorraine with salad. I had a raclette, my first galette (after 20+ years of visiting), and my wife had the omelette. The children’s meals were served on a clown plate which they loved. The raclette looked a little basic, (the chopped boiled potatoes on top doesn’t make this the best looking of dishes) but the taste was excellent. I’m not normally a massive fan of pancakes, but it was bursting with flavour and I really enjoyed. The rest of the family enjoyed their meals too. It was busy but the service was good, we really felt looked after. The deserts, well they are just something else. Absolutely enormous slices of cake. In terms of recommended daily intake you should probably share one between 6. I had the Paris Brest, which was excellent. The photos don’t really do it justice in showing how big it is.

We chose this mostly because the chairs looked more substantial than the spindly things we have been perched on for most of our stay in the area, but that did not turn out to be a mistake. We both had omelettes, which were of reasonable quality not the best ever, but not bad. Then my husband decided on the Baba au Rhum as his dessert and was totally knocked out by it (almost literally, as it came with a shot of rum on the side! He declared it to be the best he has ever had, which is high praise. We saw several tables occupied by what we took to be local people, there for tea and very large cakes, so maybe that is the main selling point for this place. Service was good and bread and water were brought without being asked for, which used to be the norm in France, but which we are finding to be less and less usual.

Pleasant location, with super friendly bi-lingual (French/English) speaking staff. Ordered fish chips as we though being by the sea we would get nice fresh fish, to our disappointment it was a frozen fish from a packet, as both my wife’s snd mine we’re exactly the same shape size which for €16:50 pp was not good… come on guys we (tourists) want fresh local produce not some frozen rubbish we can buy from Carrefour at €4 (for 4).

We had dinner dinner here, as we were feeling like to eat burguers. Not much choice for wines. The one we chose was ok-ish. The burguers were average. Mine had some condiment with a strange taste. Prices OK going on expensive.
