I normally really enjoy this bar. The food, music, service, vibe. It's always fun and pleasant. But tonight... well tonight it was Chuck E Cheese. 7 kids and their parents took over this bar from 8-11:30+. The kids were wrestling, biting each other, running laps around the entire bar, bringing their parents drinks, taking sips from their parents drinks! It completely took over the whole bar. The dj came in and it only made their moms act like they were front row at a damn pit bull concert. Some people should just not procreate. Also, how are those kids getting home after their parentals were bomboozeled? Still love the bar and will go back, but if those little trolls are there again, I'm out...
FAMILY OWNED BUSINESS!!Our group of 4 had visited a couple of venues on a Saturday night and they were all over capacity! Came upon the Tipsy Barrel and they said they had a DJ, so off we went!The owner greeted us at the door and gave us some background on the place, and seeing we were a 'little ' older than the rest of the crowd even said he could have the DJ turn the volume down a notch. lol!Friends ordered burgers, which were really good. I stole some of their fries which were cooked well and tasted good.LOVE the neon about the place (big fan of neon)Would def come back, but would sit furthest from the speakers lol!
My only regret is that I didn’t discover this place sooner. Great ambiance, great people and the best neighborhood watering hole with a welcoming atmosphere. What makes it even more special is the combination of awesome cocktails, service and welcoming people who work there. Your patronage feels valued. There aren’t many places like this on Long Island and this is definitely a gem. If you haven’t been there give it a try especially on football night. Food Service Atmosphere Great food and service was great. We went around 7pm for dinner. The only downside was that after we got there the music volume was cranked up, and while before that we were having great conversation, after the music got so loud it was nearly impossible to talk without shouting, which was disappointing.But I'll still come back because the fries were crispy and the burger was delicious.

The food is good, bar I nice but something about the energy is a little off. It might be the way it's set up and hard to move around the bar. Barrels in the middle are awkward to sit at and take up a lot of space. You should check it out. This is only my opinion.
Extremely over priced drinks compared to the rest of the neighborhood. This is not Manhattan. Food is pretty good and staff is exceptionally friendly. Unfortunately we wont be returning.
First time there food was good Michelle was very good we liked her next time I go I will sit at a different table the speaker was very loud we had a great time
Don't drink their two house beers that they have on tap, the Tipsy Blonde and the Tipsy Red unless you like the Diacetyl flavor of butterscotch in your beers.

Nothing but good vibes here. Katelyn is the best bartender and Dave the owner is the man! The whole staff is very welcoming. ?
