Pleased to be the first English review! Excellent small cafe and deli in the middle of Soll. Cristian the owner is very friendly and helpful. We called in nearly every day for a drink or had lunch twice during our stay. We shared a cheese and meat platter which Cristian " created" for us which was a good value and filling meal with local bread. Good range of local produce to take home as well. Cafe has free wifi and a nice patio to look at the mountains and relax. Well worth a visit.
This specialist in Tirolean cheese, bacon, wine and schnaps is wonderful. Today I went as a member of a party for the Degustation. Tasting of about six local cheeses, 3 bacons and 6 wines plus beer. I highly recommend this. It does not matter if you are paying the village guest or full price, it is well worth the money. There is even video of times gone by and your host Christian explains things very well. I will be going back for another visit very soon.
Had such a nice time with Christian, we saw the handball championship between Germany Norway Christian patiently explained all the rules for us. The wine was amazing, the food was nice. Such a beautiful Austrian experience. Would definitely recommend a visit to Söll. Only negative if there was one, a homemade apple strudel would have loved.
One of our personal favorites, if in Soll you finally have a small bar where you chat your friends about a beautiful glass of wine or beer and have a bit of tapas, without competition from loud music. Owners big ask only for a sandwich here with fresh horseradish you will not be disappointed fantastic local products. Réservez une table maintenant
We visited for a cheese & wine evening mid way through our ski holiday and had a fantastic time with Christian. Interesting footage of life in the mountains fuelled by fantastic wines, local cheeses and meats. It is a great night if you're looking for something different in Soll. We will definitely be back!
Did the evening wine and cheese tasting with Christian and was not disappointed. Brilliant evening, which was fantastic value for money but also very informative and interesting looking at the history of Soll and its traditions. 6 wines, 6 cheeses, bread, chutney and then beer and meats. Amazing!!!
