Stopped into this place yesterday for a Valentine’s Day dinner. We had reservations at 8 and they were so busy that we probably weren’t seated until about 9-915. Looks like they only had 2 Hibachi chefs and that’s what my party decided on. We started with drinks and I ordered a Long Island which I believe was $8 but the bar tender made it pretty strong. We got the salad first and it is pretty small, however it is very tasty with the ginger dressing. We also ordered the vegetable tempura which was also delicious. My boyfriend and I went for a belated Valentine’s Day dinner and we were not disappointed! Excellent service, delicious Hibachi dinner and even a surprise dessert at the end. The atmosphere was upbeat and everyone had smiles on their faces. A mix of old and young in the Hibachi area. Would DEFINITELY return!
One of the best Japanese Steakhouses I have ever ate at. Our Chef was great! Meadow enjoyed the interaction from the chef. Dinner was delicious. I highly recommend Todoroki. I can't wait to go back. 5 Star rating.
We've been coming here since opening night. Not as much as we used to since we don't live in Evanston anymore but food is always good. hibachi is good, all you can eat sushi too!

I came here for a to go order because I needed to eat something quicklyI ordered a chow udon bowl and thought it was a bit pricey for what I got.
Such amazing food. Great sushi. All you can eat sushi for 30 dollars. Such a great deal. Love this place. Still great after all these years.
I rarely ever wish that Yelp has a 0 stars options but this is one of those days I wish I can actively tell people never to come here.
Fantastic food, wonderful atmosphere great for a date night or fun night out with friends! Will have to make this a regular spot!!!
