Swung by on a weeknight and got a few happy hour (5 7pm) and regular items to share: Sapporo, shrimp tempura roll, black garlic miso ramen, and an assortment of nigiri. Staff was very friendly and we got lucky with finding a spot in the tiny parking lot. The parking situation is probably the most challenging part about dining in here there are only a handful of spots in front of the restaurant, otherwise it's street parking. We were pleasantly surprised by the happy hour items, the shrimp tempura roll was our fav and the $3 Sapporo couldn't be beat! The ramen was pretty good with a generous portion of noodles and meat. Unfortunately, we found the noodles to be a bit soggy and easily breaking...
Came here to order food ab 5 minutes before they opened at 5 before we went to universal horror nights. my bf asked if they had a bathroom to make sure he didn't have to walk to Starbucks to use the bathroom. Went went inside when they opened and while me and my friend were looking at the menu and my bf was in the bathroom we heard the employees saying we were just in there to use the bathroom and leave. like we were pretending to look at the menu? We spent $80 on food and didn't tip. Very rude to talk like that loudly about costumers. Just messed up. The restaurant was nice though.
We were passing through from San Francisco to Los Angeles and wanted to grab sushi on the way — we randomly found this little nook near Universal — it was awesome! It felt weird at first parking in a gas station parking lot but once we walked inside it was legit. Porch had a cozy atmosphere. Staff was super nice too. The Lemon Roll was good and we recommend going here if you are nearby!
It's a little hole with really no ambiance but that all doesn't matter because the sushi is the best I've had. Joel the owner recognized us from the time he work at Teru Sushi. You will not regret trying this little unique sushi bar. We had a few rolls and Sashimi, everything was fresh and amazing. We'll definitely be back there. Do yourselves a favor and try it!

Tokyo Cube is a hidden gem! The spicy tuna crispy rice is a must dish to order and we also loved the blue crab hand roll: delectable and perfectly prepared! The atmosphere is super relaxed and the staff are very friendly and welcoming. Great food and great ambiance are the perfect combination and Tokyo Cube has them both. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
I absolutely loved everything we ordered at this restaurant. We had baked mussels, fresh coconut water, mochi, seasonal sushi, spicy tuna, and salmon sushi. However, the standout dish was definitely the baked mussels. The server was incredibly friendly as well.
We absolutely love this place. The service is great, the sushi is even better and they always treat us to the yummiest drinks! We love this family style vibe and can not recommend enough
The food was delicious overall. We highly recommend the baked mussels - they were particularly outstanding. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal.

The sushi is always fresh, service is good, ambiance is very cute. Our local go to sushi spot. The sushi bar chefs are really cool.
