japanese food is most often beautiful tasty, but often rather expensive typically with small portions. the food at tokyo japan in jennings was beautiful, beautifully presented very tasty i could not finish what i ordered. brought home the tokyo salad untouched. i ordered some odds ends off the usual beaten path for japanese food for lunch: house tokyo soup astoundingly spicy tasty if not a little salty with little surprise bits of carmelized onions--little flavor bombs), onion petals actually they were tempura onions--enough for 2 or 3 people), seaweed salad--much better than chinese buffet style, the tokyo salad, also a couple of kirin beers $3 each--unbelievably good price). the wait staff...
I'm going to echo James' review because it's absolutely accurate. It’s no exaggeration to say that this is the best Japanese restaurant I have ever visited. The atmosphere inside is fantastic, and the service is incredibly welcoming. The sushi is delicious, especially the unique little sushi creations. The vibe is lively and cheerful, which adds to the experience. I should also mention that the fish is extremely fresh! Enjoy your meal!
Five stars every time we visit Tokyo Japan! The food and service are consistently excellent. The calamari is perfect, and the Haley Roll is absolutely delicious. Their cocktails and the new appetizer, Tako Yaki, are outstanding! Wilford is amazing, and the entire staff treats us so well and is incredibly accommodating. This is our go-to spot that never disappoints. If there were more stars, they’d earn them all! We love Tokyo Japan!
I can honestly say this is the finest Japanese restaurant I've ever been to. The ambiance is exceptional, and the staff are incredibly friendly. The sushi is delicious, particularly the smaller rolls. The lively and joyful atmosphere really enhances the experience. I thoroughly enjoy dining here and look forward to coming back frequently.

Love this place. Best place to get sushi in town. Also the best fried rice in town.
