the positive reviews at tripadvisor enlivened us to go to dinner in this restaurant at the lively imperial plaza. there are many tables outside, front and back. but we go in, there could be rain. through the open window blows the wind. we're moving. the card reveals that loading is quite expensive. I order a small crombacher, the waiter brings an old. I'll let it go, take two more later, finally belongs old to the local colonite. my wife drinks a glass green veltliner. I order herringstip, they don't. the waiter offers me instead matjes housewife type with bratkartoffeln. but I get roast potatoes and a normal matjes fillet with an additional white thick sauce and many wobble rings. that tast...
repas entre amis - sympa sauf.....totale arrogance du serveur qui a rendu à chacun d'entre nous le "dérisoire" pourboire qui arrondissait la note soit 2 x 70 crs que nous avions osé laisserà bien précisé face à notre sidération que de tels petits montant ne l'intéressaient pas...il oublie tout simplement que de petites gouttes d'eau font aussi les grandes rivières. nous n'avons décidément pas les mêmes valeurs....chère Direction, réagissez à de tels agissements, pour la bonne presse de votre restaurantJohanna

I feel very comfortable here. Nice service and very good food! The map is rich. The food is delicious and freshly prepared. The part is pretty rich. Although I am a good eater, I do not complete the carvings. I can only recommend the sound hall everywhere and here, summer (terrace) like winter when I visit Düsseldorf, very much like food. as I am an asiate, I don't know German kitchen itself so well haxen and schnitzel and what to do with kartoffeln. but now I can very well distinguish whether the haxen tastes. here I visited spontaneously but unexpectedly. is simply sooo fine! I had such feeling so rare after I tried the haxen. highly recommended!
Had dinner with the family and some friends at the Tonhalle, it was very pleasant. Staff was friendly and professional, children and dogs are welcome. The food was very good and tasty, the restautant was busy at lunch time, locals and business people which we thought was a good sign. Recommended!
