We visited Limburg a couple of weeks ago and we decided to have a brief lunch here before taking our train back. The day was pleasant and we ate out (in a small but peculiar square)Since we had little time we tried only a specialty, Flammkuche, without tasting more complex recipes (which are available in a different menu and which, according to what I saw from other tables looked tasty and abundant). This Alsatian specialty was excellent: crunchy pastry and savoury filling. Service was rather slow, because there was only one person for many clients, but this testifies a) that the place has a familiar conduction and b) that even a simple dish is made freshly and, so to say, express!
