Tootsie’s Sugar Shop

If you are out of town and stumble on a relatively unknown jewel... ESPECIALLY a candy ice donut shop on National Ice Cream Day, you need to spread the good word. Tootsie's Sugar Shop pays tribute to the old school houses of the past and it was great! We ordered the finished Blueberry Mini Donuts with a Blueberry Purple, a Captain Butterscotch Milkshake made with homemade ice cream, and I found a classic Zagnut Candy Bar to take with me. The staff was friendly, the interior is picturesque, the atmosphere is nostalgic and the sweets were absolutely delicious! Thank you.

What a great place! Fresh made mini donuts, great selection of ice cream, fun and unique candy and sweets. The staff was very pleasant all around Great experience.

We went from Britt's for a dessert and they have some absolutely delicious treats! I highly recommend it!
