It is your average Chinese carryout greasy spoon but if that's what you're looking for then you're in the right place! When the mood strikes me, this is my go to Chinese carryout, at least in Landover Hills. Things I love: phone etiquette. this is usually very lacking in carryout places and not for lack or trying, simply a disconnect of cultures. this place, at the very least, makes a genuine attempt at being accurate and polite. portion size: HUGE portions for what you're paying, at least I certainly think so. This is one of your ubiquitous Chinese Take Out joints you will find in the DC Metropolitan Area located in Landover Hills, MD not far from the former Capital Plaza Shopping Mall. My family decided to check the place out one day after we saw their grand opening banner and after ordering some of our usual 's like Shrimp Egg Foo Young, Fried Rice, and General Tso 's Chicken we came away impressed with the quality and freshness of the food. They have a really good Steak and Cheese Sub that I order on occasion and when I do I get the 'Every Day Sub Combo ' which includes a Half Steak Cheese, Fries, and 20oz soda for $6.70. Ordered from Top Taste yesterday for the first time delivered to my house). The drunken noodles were very disappointing overcooked and almost tasteless so bad that they had to be thrown away $13 into the trash). The broccoli in garlic sauce was good except it wasn't garlic sauce. It was a reddish sweet type of sauce. One of my kids got french fries, and even THEY weren't good not baked long enough. Not a good first experience, so it will be my LAST experience with Top Taste. Giving it one star only because I can't give it NO stars.

Great mumbo sauce but poor customer service. Aside from the phone being answered like a house phone they're constantly up-charging for simple things like putting some of the sauce from your general Tsos chicken on your rice. They now have a supposed 9 card minimum and will automatically charge .25 extra to any purchases under this limit without informing you until after they've quoted the price without this additional fee and have swiped your card.

When I went there today, there was a long piece of hair in my food!! But after they made a second batch of the chicken tenders and fries, I was content with my food. Great Mumbo Sauce!! But why is ranch dressing, or any sauce (except for Mumbo Sauce and Ketchup) for that matter, twenty-five cents extra? Overall this is a good place to eat when you're in the carry-out mood.

This is a typical carryout in the DC area. The shrimp basket is a solid choice, or the sweet and sour chicken. Nothing special but a solid choice for some quick and decent food. I will keep eating here when I'm in a hurry and want something filling close to the house

They use white American cheese when you ask for provolone cheese. They don't tell you that they don't have it. They just use the white American cheese. I feel cheated, insulted and disrespected as a customer

This place is worth a visit. They have large portions for fair rates. Regularly clean and with fantastic character. I highly recommend this place.
