I called a few weeks back to the topaz cafe with my enkelin, my first visit. I couldn't believe my luck! the menu is either vegetarian or vegan, the procurement is of great food that would otherwise have ended in landfill, the prices are great, the eating is from this world, beautiful personal, comfortable sofas and the spatialities are also a center for the mind organization i.e., the mental health appeal) well, it has certainly recommend all boxes for me an absolute joy, I would recommend this caffe and every caffe.
Good honest vegetarian food. Perfect for a healthy casual lunch. Very well priced, freshly made seasonal food. Staff are lovely and friendly. I understand they have a vegetable garden and grow some of their own vegetables in the summer months so looking forward to trying that. Did I mention the coffee is also VERY good. Plenty of cheap car parking less than 1 minute walk or some free on street parking if you are lucky enough to get a space.
I’m guessing there has been a change in chef/staff and not for the better. I used to love going to Topaz and having multiple vegan options for food and cake. It’s been a while since I last went due to them now closing on a Saturday. I went In today midweek and the food menu was poor. Jacket potatoes.... quiche... so basic and the only vegan option was a chilli. What a shame as this place used to be amazing.
I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant today with my daughter for lunch. There was a wide variety of vegetarian and vegan options available, as well as many gluten-free choices. We shared a delicious curry and aubergine dish, and also picked up some cakes to enjoy later. The service was great and the prices were very reasonable. Overall, it was a fantastic find! I regularly eat here for dinner and always find the food beautiful. They cater for families of all ages and really adaptable for people with intolerances. I know the food is prepared by staff and volunteers and I am amazed at the quality of food and service I consistently receive. Always a varied menu and something new to try
I stopped by this vegetarian cafe for lunch before a meeting and had a wonderful experience. The staff was friendly, the food was fresh, and the menu had a great selection of items such as halloumi, salad, pitta, and houmous. The prices were very reasonable, making it a fantastic value.
