Pros: The restaurant boasts an authentic style and presentation. The Carne Asada Tacos were quite good—some of the best I've had in Florida, though not the absolute best I've ever tasted. The flavors were enjoyable, but not overwhelmingly impressive. They were a little on the dry side, so if they can fix that, these tacos could easily earn a five-star rating! The salsa was fantastic and spicy, which helped to balance out the dryness. The shrimp taco was decent but not particularly memorable; I'll likely stick to the carne asada during my next visit. My wife and I frequent mexican taquerias in South Florida. This little gem is by far our favorite. Do not be scared away by the sketchy parking lot and exterior. When you walk through the doors you will be pleasantly surprised. Recently expanded restaurant to the right; and mini store and butcher to the left. The food tacos are excellent, fresh meat and cilantro/onions. We chose lengua (beef tongue) my personal favorite. We also selected Carnitas (fried or roasted pork). Both were perfect as every time we come. Homemade fried tortillas with freshly made, excellent quality guacamole. Lastly, the ladies who provide wait service are very friendly and very good servers. If you like authentic, qu...

Tacos de cabeza micheladas, I drive 1 hr to go there, as a Mexican this is one of the only 2 places I can recommend in all south Florida (other one is the flea market in homestead) for the closest thing to real Mexican food, I also get 1 kilo de tortillas to go and Mexican goodies at the convenience store

For 20 years, I’ve been visiting South Florida, and until a few years ago, I was directed to this spot. Being Mexican and from Chicago, this place really hits the mark. The tamales, tacos, and little market remind me of my favorite places back in Chicago!
