I came here with a group of seven and the consensus among all of us was that the food was excellent! I could tell that it was authentic. Everything was freshly made and absolutely delicious! The Oxtails in the stew were tender, those who had sandwiches stated that they were very tasty, and the fish platters were really good. One vegetarian platter was also as good as all the meat and seafood dishes. I must also note that the Cuban Coffee was some of the best coffee I’ve ever had and three other people also really enjoyed it from the very first sip. Our server was excellent, friendly and very helpful. I highly recommend dining at this restaurant.
I visited this restaurant on Saturday around 1:40 PM, and it was nearly empty. I kicked things off with a guava juice, which was absolutely delightful. For my main course, I had the vaca frita, and it was excellent! I wrapped up my meal with a Cuban coffee. The service was attentive, and the place was spotless. I would definitely recommend giving this restaurant a try.
I'm from South Florida so I've had really good Cuban food. With that being said, Tortugas is some of THE BEST Cuban food I've had. It's always fresh, well seasoned and delicious. I normally get the empanada trio, tostones rellenos, the pollo a la plancha or the Hemingway chicken. I also love their natural juices. Service is quick and everyone is nice and welcoming.
This place is solid! I had the Ropa Vieja, and it was on point! Others in our party had the Cuban sandwich and the Pollo a la Plancha. Plus the trio of empanadas which included Beef, Chicken, and Guava with Cream Cheese. All of it was outstanding. We also enjoyed a pitcher of mojitos, and I couldn’t have been more pleased. Great choice all the way around.

The Cuban food here is outstanding. The empanadas are fresh and tasty, while the Cubano sandwiches are excellent. The Vaca Frita is absolutely phenomenal. Make sure to visit this place when you’re in the mood for some incredible Cuban dishes!

The surrounding shopping center is kinda shabby, but don't let that stop you. This place has amazing Cuban food, good drinks, and sometimes live music.
