This is the first time I have ever written a review about a restaurant, but after this experience I was so annoyed I felt the need to let others know so they can avoid.Went for dinner with 2 friends, place was about half full therefore you assume the food must be ok, big mistake and I don’t think we were the only table who felt like this.I ordered the seafood marinara, the star of the dish and basically what you are paying for is the seafood, all over cooked to the point it was like rubber!One of my friends has the spaghetti Bolognese, how could you go wrong? Well the chef’s at Toscanis can! Bland, could have made one ten times better at home!And as for the pizza ordered by my second friend,...
I always hear bad things about this restaurant but we thought we would try anyway. Well that was a mistake. Slooooow service, the 4 of us got a table and waited around 20 minutes before getting a menu. We ordered a first round of drinks for before dinner and it took 25 minutes. I had to ask if they were still coming. After we get out food we order another round. 35 MINUTES LATER! I ask AGAIN where the drinks are. 35 minutes for 2 glasses of champagne and 1 coke. Even after asking the waiters how much longer they were going to be. Then they offered us 5% off for the ridiculously long wait.... not off the entire bill but 5% off the 3 drinks we ordered. Gee thanks! Food was below average and no...
We have not learnt from our first experience here! Thought we'd try Toscani's again....big mistake! They weren't that busy but we waited over half an hour for coffees. After stressing could we have extra hot, they came out luke warm. So sent them back and waited another half hour. Our meals took longer. I ordered a vege wrap...roast pumpkin advertised as the main ingredient.....no pumpkin. At the check out they thought 10% off was adequate. If you want to enjoy your meal....I can not stress more...do not frequent this place...terrible management!
Place was practically empty. We had no table water, took forever to even take our orders, then bring out our coffee and breakfast. Gave us the wrong coffee order, added bacon when I didn't order it + bacon was undercooked. Brought out our meals without cutlery, no cracked pepper. Wouldn't remove our plates after we finished.

We waited 20mins for drinks and 40mins for food, with no compensation such as a discount or free items. A big group of us were all very disappointed. The food itself was overpriced and 'more of a rocket salad than a smashed avocado' (MP, 2016). Is there a shortage of avocado in this state? Melbourne seems to have plenty.
Found 5 shards of glass in my mouth after drinking a glass of coke. They were decent shards. The glass was not broken. Spoke to them about and showed them the glass I pulled out of my mouth and the response was "ohhhh ok....umm, I will go and tell someone".
I go to Toscani's quite often for dinner, always fast to be served lovely meals I normally get a chicken penne dish but the staff add in roast lamb for me & it taste delicious.Very filling & all satisfied with my meal.
Me & my partner have been here a few times now, staff are always friendly. Always served pretty quickly, Food is always amazing I personally get the spaghetti one of my favourite dishes.

'Pub food' yes it was hot, served on a plate with some greenery but nothing exceptional about any of the meals (3) that we ordered.
