We arrived and sat on the patio, but it was extremely busy on a Sunday after church. We waited a long time just to receive our menus, and then it took even longer to get everything we had ordered. Our waitress, Marisol, mistakenly brought us the wrong food and didn't check in with us to see if we needed anything else. When we tried to call for assistance, we felt ignored. The staff seemed to focus only on the larger tables in the middle, rushing around and trying to clean while we were still eating. The service was very disappointing.
Love to eat here only problem is lack of English communication. My husband is white, so he obviously doesn't speak Spanish, and the wait staff are not able to speak English. So my husband had to point at pictures on menu and unfortunately was,not able to ask questions about suggestions or simply ask for coffee. Mostly waitress did get annoyed with him and at me because I didn't help either. Reason is why should we have to accommodate the wait staff if they work in a restaurant to serve the public
That was very good service and very authentic Mexican cuisine. You can say it didn't come out of a can. Our waitress spoke very little English, but enough to get our order right, and she was very thoughtful and took care of us well. I think they had a very good choice on the menu for a small Mexican restaurant. I advise people to try it and I want to go back from time to time.
I want to give this place more stars. The food is really good. At least when they make what you actually order. I honestly can't think of the last time that my order has been correct. It's a shame because when right, it's pretty tasty. There just seems to be a lack of communication between the wait staff and the kitchen.Food: 4/5

A good place to eat at Pasadena, the food was good, it has decent quality and the service was amazing, the waitress was very nice, the atmosphere was kind of rundown, but its Pasadena so it's typical, I would recommend this restaurant overall 7.3/10Food: 4/5
Been living here my whole life I’ve been upset that agave shut down. But today was the very best decision I made to stop and eat lunch here with my husband! 10/10 everything was amazing!
I've always had a positive experience at this restaurant. The staff is excellent, and the food is both delicious and served promptly.
The food is exceptional, and the staff is fantastic. The portions are generous, making it a place definitely worth visiting.
