The prawns were a good size, and we received about five or six of them. We also ordered a large quantity of wings, and each piece of chicken was better than the last, with a great combination of drums and flats. The catfish was spot on, and the mac and cheese was creamy and satisfying. The greens were excellent as well, and I appreciated that they didn't contain bacon. I prefer my yams a bit firmer, but I wouldn't turn these down again. The potato salad was another standout, especially since it had no raisins!

I went for chitterlings last Saturday. They were two hours late getting them ready. I finally got my order and when I didn’t see any cornbread which is supposed to be included, the person waiting on me told me very coldly, l don 't have cornbread today. When I got home I was horrified to discover that the chitterings were not fully cooked or properly cleaned! Pea sized pieces of hog waste were through out my order! I tried to clean them and cook them until they were fully done, but it wasn 't worth the effort. Trying to chew them was like chewing leather. Good food! The atmosphere inside is good. However, the atmosphere outside around the corners and down the street is questionable. My father ordered fried Catfish to go.
