Town Crier - Réservation de table

My friends and I came to Coventry to celebrate a special birthday. We spent Friday night at this restaurant, enjoying food and drinks, and returned the next day for the live band. There were 8 of us and we arrived early at 5 o’clock. We ordered food and drinks and were happy to have a nice spot to watch the band and celebrate. However, our evening took a turn when a female bar staff member informed us at 7 o’clock that our table was reserved for regular customers coming at 8. The pub was packed, leaving us with no place to sit, so we had to leave in the rain. It was disappointing that she did not inform us earlier about the reservation, as it ruined our night and my husband’s birthday.

Great service and lovely food served for our Christmas lunch reunion today from Severn Trent Water Ltd. The Christmas menu at £25 was good value for money and freshly cooked vegetables with real meat (nothing processed) was a pleasure to eat. Nicely presented with Christmas festivities and perfectly timed to allow us back into the office within our core allowance. Merry Christmas all !

Popped in after work yesterday for a pint. There was a good variety of ale's to choose from. I had a hobgoblin gold and it was a perfect pint, of course that ment I had to sample another! Staff were friendly and nice atmosphere after a long day. Unfortunately I was driving otherwise I would have stayed longer but will definitely be back (via public transport or taxi haha).

I had a great time at this restaurant. The beer was excellent and the food was delicious. However, I thought it was unreasonable to charge an extra pound for gravy when it should have been included with the meal. It felt like they were being overly frugal. Réservez une table maintenant

The staff at this restaurant was incredibly friendly and helpful. Our dinners were delicious, hot, and very satisfying. My family and I will definitely be returning in the future, hopefully with enough room for dessert!

Visited today with my family to have lunch. The food was lovely but that's no surprise as I always enjoy mini cod and chips at the crier! Service was great and didn't wait long for food.

Celebrated Halloween at the Town Crier Saturday night with friends. We loved the cocktails! Staff were lovely and got served quickly. Look forward to next visit Réservez une table maintenant

Popped in for a spot of lunch and we had the best tasting burgers EVER! Many thanks to who made the lovely food and barstaff for excellent service.

Always choose this pub when I want proper nosh at a good price. Today it was ham, egg and chips with bread superb at just £10.
