Went to meet a couple of friends for a bite and to catch up. There was a supermarket, pizza place as well as seafood, Italian, as well as meat eateries. We decided on a bar type of place that served fish and chips, hamburgers and alcoholic drinks. The service was pleasant but slow. The waitstaff were too busy to take notice of their customers. Food was pleasant but nothing special. Fish and chips left a lot to be desired, fish (Rockling) was watery. Beers and wines were enjoyable. Parking was paid for which was a bummer, but you could get free parking if you shopped at the Supermarket for under 90 minutes, but no refund for dinners. Wouldn't go back to the same place in a hurry, but would tr...

Wow... what an amazing place the old 'Rozelle Tramsheds' is.we ventured there for an early Sunday breakfast with friends and were spoilt for choice of where to eat.Loved the interesting fit out of all the eateries, Barber shop, Supermart, ramps for easy access, the old Tram - it is definitely worth visiting. It needs to have more street signs as we got lost getting there. If coming from the Northside go over Anzac bridge and turn left to Lilyfield and follow the road around to the left.Turn left at 'Webbers Carpets' (1 The Crescent) then right into Dalgal Way
Looking for something a little quirky then this is the place. An old warehouse which used to store the Old Sydney Trams which has been converted into this dining and drinking venue although it also has a gym, and supermarket to name a couple of extra. There is a variety of cuisines and bars to suit most tastes. The venue is easily accessed with a carpark and street parking although can be quite crowded and hard to find a park on weekends. Easiest way is to get the light rail (Tram) and get off at Jubilee park which is within 20m of the venue.
Sunday lunch at the Tram Shed. A good variety of places to eat. We had salt and pepper squid at the fish shop. Small serving which suited both of us. Not cheap but good food in a very pleasant atmosphere. A great use of an old building.Might be a good idea to arrive early as the place gets crowded later on.After lunch, get a gelato outside and stroll through Jubilee Park. Réservez une table maintenant
We are visiting from Uk to see our grandson and family. We've seen this progress over last couple of visits. Spoilt for choice with places to eat. Free parking up to 90min in weekday. Only negative is push chair access from the park is non existent. Nice little bridge to a dead end path.
This is really well worth a visit. Many different choices of places to eat for breakfast, lunch or dinner. It was well worth going, had a delightful breakfast then chose to go back to Bodega 1904 for dinner.
This really is an excellent place to go for informal dining in a mammoth food hall which also has bottle stores, bars, a barbers, a fish shop, a pharmacy, a supetmarket, an ice cream parlour etc.etc
Always a great place that is easy to park, easy to get to and multiple choices of cuisine of high quality. Very popular on the weekends for friends and family with a nearby park and harbour. Réservez une table maintenant
variety of interesting restaurants and shops that we find interesting. Reasonable parking - at peak time may be a challenge. Good place to to come to with kids.
