Trattoria La Casa - Réservation de table

I have visited this restaurant several times and have always been pleased with the service, which is accommodating and friendly. The food is of good quality, but I was disappointed with the portion size of the linguini with prawns I ordered last night. Despite not having a big appetite, I felt that the serving was too small at starter size. The dish cost £18, which seemed excessive for the amount of food I received - about 8 prawns on a small portion of linguini. I noticed that some other dishes at the restaurant were larger, but mine was not. Unfortunately, no one asked me about my meal, and although I should have complained, I left feeling disappointed.

We had a wonderful evening at this restaurant. We were staying at the nearby Premier Inn, just a few minutes' walk away. As we walked along the high street looking for somewhere to eat, we were drawn to the restaurant's inviting appearance and were excited to try it out. The service was excellent and we enjoyed a delicious shared platter for our starter, followed by tasty pizza and a halloumi salad. We also tried two different red wines, both of which were really good. We plan on returning to this restaurant in the future and highly recommend it to others.

Authentic Italian food and friendly service are stand out qualities at La Casa. We visited at lunchtime with almost all tables occupied and were taken great care of. I especially value that even when busy, there is enough space and it's still possible to have a conversation without being overwhelmed by background noise. Fully recommended. Service: Dine in

The best Italian I've been to in a very long time, what a hidden gem! This is my favorite spot for enjoying a drink. They have a fantastic covered outdoor seating area on the sidewalk. The service is always friendly. They offer dine-in service and the prices are very reasonable, ranging from £1 to £10 per person. I would rate the food a 4, the service a 5, and the atmosphere a 5.
