another evening at dendy’s, another visit to tre viet. with a wide edge not the best Vietnamese location in sydney, but conveniently located. was good. this time we had the papaya salad (decent but nothing special) the bark soup (fine,) the...pancake ( disappointing, with a few very small garnel, a few very small pieces of ink fish, a few pieces of pork n bark meat,) and a glass white and red wine ever when the bill came correct but the glass was calculated for white wine. I know that mistakes happen, but. How can they do that wrong? we informed them about the bill.

this small Vietnamese restaurant is located in newton and offers a good selection of products on the menu. we started with rice paper rolls. fresh and delicious. to follow, we had the bark rice soup and the...vermicelli salat with springroll. the parts were large and cheap. eating is good and overall we had a good experience. with so many choices for eating if they are looking for moderately cheap, fresh and delicious Vietnamese food, tre viet is a good choice and open until 10 o'clock.

We had dinner last night for the first time and we were pretty happy with this restaurant. We tried the pancake, the caramelised pork and the chicken noodle soup (pho . All dishes were nice and reasonably priced, I found it lacked a bit of salt...in general for my likings but it’s probably only my personal taste. The restaurant feels a bit tired (carpet on floor and a bit too dark but staff was lovely and service quick.

we had lunch with friends. we had entrees of betel leaf bark and nem tre viet both pretty good. then for the net we had pork belly in orange sauce (the best main course,) sauteed duck with mushroom (bland mushroom sauce) and barramundi curry. eating was okay, but very small portions. we went to dessert, as the only two offered were inspiring.
