I've visited Tropical Hut a few times recently, and each visit has been delightful. On November 26, I stopped by for their special Christmas glazed ham to take out, along with Pancit Palabok and some of my favorite Magnolia Ube Queso ice cream. It was a quick and enjoyable stop, and I was thrilled to get some Lumpiang Sariwa as well — I wish they offered it every week! During this visit, I also picked up some tubes of Magnolia avocado and mango ice cream. I appreciate that the owner and staff are attentive; when one employee asked me about items in my shopping basket, I assured her that I was using the provided basket and hadn’t put any unpaid items in my bags. She checked, and there was...

**Review Date:** October 14, 2022 I had a lovely experience at Tropical Hut. The food was delicious, and the staff were friendly. I was particularly pleased to find some wonderful dessert trays! **Review Date:** October 7, 2022 The atmosphere was nice and decent overall. I came across some great grocery items, though I should point out that some products, like a tub of ice cream imported from the Philippines, were a bit pricey. I bought a few since I had a strong craving for Filipino ice cream, which I personally find superior to American-made versions. Additionally, items like the beef empanada are also on the higher side. However, if you consider these beloved foods worth the extra ex...

One of our favorite stops when we're passing by in Rt. 9. They have a good selection of Filipino food, both canned and fresh cooked and ready to eat.Prices are pretty good. You won't find a better selection with decent prices without driving quite a distance to a large Asian market so this is a much better deal if you're local. The line to order fresh-cooked food starts to the right of the store. You can browse the market part of the store before ordering food and checkout with all items at the same time.#Filipino #Asianmarket

What a hidden gem I discovered for the first time! The Filipino food is fantastic and reasonably priced. The small take-out area may not look like much, but the food far surpasses expectations. I did experience some stomach issues after my first visit, but it was worth it because the flavors are incredible. On my second visit, I had no problems at all. The food is amazing, and the prices are excellent considering it seems like a small operation. However, the back area is where they really serve up some delicious dishes! I love Filipino food and it has been a while since I had. I started working nearby so when I heard about this place from my Filipino friends, I knew I had to try it. I got the pork menudo and lumpia. Lumpia is out of this world although I would have liked to see more meat inside ~1cm of just crust on the edges). It is very crunchy and tasted amazing though. Medudo was also great. It is not too salty compared to menudos I have tried in other places around central NJ I will definitely be coming back!

A hidden jewel in the Philippines. You have a wide selection of Filipino sweets, drinks, snacks and ingredients. They also have hot dishes in the back with a number of dishes such as red meat, poultry and fish with rice. They have a variety of philippine flavored ice creams such as Boba and ube. Your homemade desserts are also delicious. I can't forget her wall. The hot food is very affordable and people are always beautiful. Remember the house of my Lola

What a hidden gem I recently went to for the first time. Awesome Filipino food at great prices It has a small take out area that well taste so much better then what the store looks like. Great food but first time had stomach issues but for me it was worth it cause the food tasted great Second time no issues Terrific food great prices for what looks like a tiny store front but on the back is where they serve the awesome food

Tropical Hut is my go-to for cooked Filipino food. I have been buying take-out for a few years now and have found the cooking to be solid and reliably good. I am doing this review because of a dish I have not sampled before. This was mackerel fried then stewed in coconut milk, with eggplant and bok choy. Truly delicious! Réservez une table maintenant
