I really try to support the very few caribbean restaurants in the area, but this one is pretty disappointing. In this day and age to only accept cash, but to also still charge taxes on the food is robbery. It also limits what you can order because people don't walk around with a bunch of cash on them. You should not provide a menu if you're not going to offer everything indicated on the menu. The wait and customers service also needs improvement. The last thing I ordered was jerk chicken, it was a little dry but edible, can't believe I had to ask for sauce. Smh. I doubt I'll be going back. The takeout lunch I had was excellent! For a price range of $30 to $50 per person, I highly recommend trying the dumplings, fried chicken, and the rice and peas. Each dish was flavorful and well-prepared, making for a satisfying meal.
A friend brought me some Tropical Jerk from Uniondale all the way to Philadelphia, PA and this was hands down the best Jamaican food I’ve ever had.
