I was here on Sunday afternoon. Everything nearby was closed and glad that Tropicana was open for us to eat something. Ambience feels as much as a Malaysian restaurant, you can already feel it when you enter. Place was clean and clean. They offer a wide range of Asian and/or Malaysian dishes and many of them look so attractive. We ordered Nasi Lemak, Curry Laksa and Wonton Noodle. They were all so delicious and tasteful. They cook it right so that all dishes have authentic taste. Love love loves food and Curry Laksa was the star for me. Portion is quite large for us Asians, so, I think price wise it was worth it. We tried their nasi lemak, laksa curry and chicken satay and enjoyed them a lot. The Sambal for the Nasi-Lemak was particularly delicious and the best we have tried so far in Switzerland. The owners were very accommodating with our desires to have a non spicy Nasi lemak for our children by replacing the curry chicken part with fried chicken instead.
The curry laksa and nasi lemak were delicious. The rice for Nasi-Lemak could in my opinion have more coconut milk (Malaysian Standard), but it was compensated by the Sambal. The nasi lemak sambal was so good! Curry laksa was also delicious.
It's a lovely jewel for Switzerland, its cheap so don't expect michelin service, they work hard. Speak to the staff that come from ipoh if you want real Malaysian.

The Nasi Lemak and KL Hokkien Mee was good enough to cure a home sick tummy. Especially if one has not had that taste of thick yellow noodles for a while.
A true gem for Malaysia cuisine right at the center of Lausanne. Hitting the right notes for the nasi lemak i had. Très bien !
