Absolutely amazing!! The menu at this restaurant will make you doubt just how much you really love sushi. And their special combos...there are approximately 8 different combinations, all of them worth it. We decided to order directly from the menu: 1. Kyuri Roll: tuna, salmon, yellowtail, crab, avocado, yamagobo with cucumber wrap. 2. Kenny Roll: tuna, salmon, yellowtail, masago, avocado, crunch; without avocado 3. 2 pieces of yellowtail and salmon nigiri 4. Tempura Ice Cream.
I recently had lunch at Tsunami Sushi for the fourth time. I began with a tasty miso soup, followed by a bento box containing Korean-style beef bulgogi, 4 pieces of shrimp/tempura potato slices with tentsuyu dipping sauce, 3 pieces of sushi, white rice, and a crispy salad with a light ginger dressing. The meal felt like a journey through East Asian flavors, and it definitely left me satisfied.
We had a fantastic experience at this restaurant! The sushi and rolls were top-notch, the service was quick and our server was very friendly. The lunch special was a great value and totally worth it. The miso soup was tasty and delightful. This place definitely serves the best quality sushi in the area. We will definitely be returning in the future!
We just tried this place for the first time because we were craving some sushi and we absolutely loved it. Great vegetarian options and the sushi was fresh and filling. I got the dynamite roll and the spicy tuna. My wife got the sweet potato roll x2 and ate every one. Usually she saves one for me but not this time. Definitely recommend!! I agree with everyone who claims this to be a local gem. Absolutely wonderful. Exceptional service and extremely fresh sushi. Their combinations are well thought out and flavorful. The presentation is masterful and I highly recommend the gyoza which is done with a tempura and simply delicious.
