great eating great service my wife and I visited florenz, south carolina beginning march to visit a casting crowns concert. my research revealed that the place to eat in flour, is tubb shrimp fish co. we ate for lunch before we leave the city, and it was great. Of course, I have garnished them and tried the grits. the crab soup is the best I had. deandra loved her garnel plate. the place had character and the service was friendly and efficient. last weekend I led the cooper river bridge run 10k in charleston. it just happened that I would go home on Friday after charleston after florence and on Saturday. on Friday, I had again the crawling soup, and I had a bell. The food was fantastic! We had a wonderful lunch at this restaurant. The indoor air-conditioned terrace seating was a nice choice. The Mexican Hushpuppies were a delicious appetizer that we shared among three people and it was plenty for all of us. The fried catfish and roasted shrimp were very fresh and cooked perfectly. The Key Limecake for dessert was a light and tasty way to end the meal. The prices were reasonable for the high quality seafood we enjoyed. We arrived around 11:45 and our food was served promptly.
when they order food to go/pike, sometimes there seems to lose something when it comes back to home, job, etc. not tubbs! the fine people in tubb cook super fine eating with lasting makes. my wife and I ordered five orders for us our three adult children. it brought home and the aroma smiles the size of the sun on the faces of everyone. and the taste let us praise the food gods. tubb’s has great staff and we love the family atmosphere. can not recommend high enough.
Wow! Don?t miss this wonderful family owned and operated gem in a remodeled old filling station. We found it five years ago while spending an overnight in Florence. Last night we started with the mussels carefully prepared with a wine, local pork andsmall bits of blue cheese?wow. We enjoyed the sauteed crab cakes, grilled shrimp and a variety of sides. I was extremely impressed by the service and food at this restaurant. Cam provided excellent service and the Southern low country seafood dishes had great flavor. The shrimp and grits were creamy and delicious, while the grilled oysters and hoppin john were amazing. The local beer recommended by Cam was also a hit. Overall, a fantastic dining experience. If you are in or near Florence, I highly recommend checking it out.

I recently discovered South Carolina's best hidden gem seafood restaurant! It was amazing... I would give it 10 stars if I could. The fried shrimp and crab fries were outstanding, and the Bang Bang Shrimp was incredibly delicious. A must-visit if you're in the area or passing through on your way to Florida like we were. Highly recommend!
The grilled seafood at Tubbs was the best I have had in a long time. The collards were delicious and the honey lime butter was scrumptious. The waiter was attentive and the service was exceptionally good. My husband and I are glad we found this place. I live 3 hours away and will definitely come back to Florence just to eat at Tubbs. This place was fantastic, we were lucky to find it. The menu was extensive. The service was friendly and efficient. Our meals were so good that we ordered takeout to enjoy at home. I would make an effort to come back and try all the things I didn't get to try... they are on my must-try list.
