I recently went to see a solo performance by Steve Gunn at Tubby's, an old school dive bar. Despite the usual negative connotations that come with dive bars, Tubby's was surprisingly clean and well-maintained. The venue has a capacity of around 50 people and offers reasonable prices for tickets, food, and drinks. The stage area provided an intimate setting for the show. Overall, it was a great experience.
In normal times, this is a great bar. Right now they have really stepped up the kitchen. Got dinner from there last night (and a couple of cocktails to go) and... everything was excellent!
the best bar in kingston hands down. they have a large selection of disks they play, and I love the new rotating menu that they have made post covid.
The restaurant has fantastic energy, delicious drinks, awesome music, and friendly staff. Tubby's really takes care of it all. A must visit spot! Réservez une table maintenant
Has been closed since Covid, but from what I can see through the window this is a bar I would love to be in. I hope they reopen.
I drove here last night to see Protomartyr, and I must say this is a fantastic bar. I wish it was in my neighborhood!
