This favorite has gone downhill fast. Carmichael on Manzanita Last visit it was bad. But we tried again. Prices doubled from what internet said. We ordered a 3 piece. Awful cold probably old limb fries. 3 small pieces of fish that were barely the old size of barely 1. Added 1 tiny onion ring used to be 2 nice sized rings. Combo veggies cold breading fell off most pieces. Stingy on sauces (2 tarter 1/2 full and one tiny vinegar). They must have changed who owns or definetyruns manages the place. Used to give fried banana as a treat. No more. Sorry to say 2 strikes you are out. We definitely will not be patronizing this place again. See you again the day after never. I can remember many years ago while stopping at a very small restaurant in Norwalk, Ohio, i made a side order of fried mushroom with my sandwich. I can never forget that fried crispy taste outside but soft and delicate inside. Over the years i have tried different fried mushroom in Texas and California but i have never found anything like the one in Ohio until today when i ordered from Tugboat Fish and Chips in Carmichael along Fair Oaks Blvd. That was excellent!
