This Chinese restaurant was very popular during its time at Lakeview in the early days of the Tuggeranong Town Centre. It was always busy for both lunch and dinner, and our extended family often celebrated birthdays here. They even offered yum cha on weekends, which is always a hit with Asian families. My wife and I went there for Valentine's Day dinner. We haven't been since 1998 when it went by a different name and we were only just starting to date. The food is delicious and if you love duck the way my wife does, you'll...be in Heaven. The entrees are slightly misleading. I had the whitebait and it wasn't an entree size, it was a main meal all by itself. It was priced as if it were a main though. The other mains were what you'd expect and tasty as can be. The service was fast, friendly and efficient. We are definitely going back.
The food at this restaurant is consistently delicious and affordably priced. The Peking Duck Pancakes are a popular choice among diners. Whenever my friends from out of state come to visit, they always request to dine at this restaurant. I have never had a disappointing meal here and have enjoyed numerous meals over the years.
eat OK/average and are just a few times for the retreat when other restaurants are closed. have never seen other customers here and the place has the atmosphere of a lofty hall. is this place a front for something else? please add them. add an evaluation when they have been here. even the personal looks boring.

we have lost the number of times we have eaten here, delivery and eating. best Chinese in canberra. if this restaurant was in the main street of tuggeranong, they would be 2 0 busy! have chinese at other places to tuggeranong tried to feel disappointed from every time that we do not go to tuggie!
Had Tuggies Palace for the first time in years on the weekend and it was Fantastic! We got takeaway and it was fast and everything was really good. Whenever we get chinese from tuggeranong area it will be from these guys. Was excellent.
Friday evening dinner. no photo because after ordering over two hours I still order HAVEN’T received my food $66.11. 3 phones call in the load and I'm sorry to be told to the driver is on the way. never. never.
Although the restaurant may seem unassuming, the food is surprisingly delicious and the service is charming. The standout dish is definitely their Peking duck pancakes, which are the best I've had in Canberra.

the ambiente is as always terrible. as ever formed by the amazing food. I don't mind eating in a cheap environment when it comes to keeping the price for good food.
We eat food from here regularly, probably the best Chinese food in Tuggeranong! Highly recommend it!!
