Having been to this restaurant previously had lovely food, i decided to book in advance of our visit on Saturday 12th November 2022 as a treat for my daughters birthday. The table was booked online for 3 people for 2.30pm on a Saturday afternoon, upon our arrival we were met by a very pleasant young female waitress who seated us took our drinks order. On our arrival there were only 2 x couples in the restaurant, one of which also had a small child with them as we did 3 males sat adjacent to the bar/ counter area, it soon became obvious that the 3 males were social media bloggers/ influencers filming the food which they were provided with by the male owner/ chef, as they were also taken behin...
Went here on a Friday lunch time around 1.30. It was pretty quiet, just one other table occupied by 3 people. Me and my daughter just wanted a drink and a snack. I had tea and she had coffee. She said it was lovely coffee. The tea was a bag in a cup with a small jug of milk. It was OK, a pot would have been nicer. We both had a little pastry and they were very pleasant, it was nice to be able to get something small and not be overwhelmed with a large portion. It was a pleasant experience and I would definitely go back for a meal. The lady that waited our table was very friendly and helpful.
If you haven’t eaten here yet, then you need to update your bucket list, I had read a few articles about the place so took my two daughters today, we were blown away by the quality, taste and service, we all agreed they’re the best pizza we’ve ever tried, and the chorizo in honey and red wine is on another level. Simple, quality ingredients that more than delivered on flavour, paired with the chefs knowledge of Italian cooking and Baking. I was even sent on my way with a complimentary stotty fresh from the oven. I will be back for more
Booked in advance for two but was informed on arrival that we had limited time as they only had a four and it was needed for another booking. Ordered drinks, came minus a glass and was wrong. Advised serving staff, drink swapped still no glass. Decided we wouldn’t take the risk on food being wrong so paid and left without eating. Serving staff are college students at best, with what appears to be little or no training. Best avoided and spend your cash elsewhere. Réservez une table maintenant
I read a review saying the pizza was 'wet and soggy ' and saw photos of the burnt crust prior to ordering and I knew I was on the right track to find proper Neapolitan pizza (it 's meant to be that way). We ended up in Leigh by accident and honestly it was the absolute biggest surprise that they have a pizza place this good there. I 'm not sure if I 'd be able to tell a pizza from Rudy 's and from Twentymans apart.
This was our 1st visit at Twentyman's and I shall definitely be back. The pizza is outstanding! We opted for the bottomless pizza and prosecco deal which is £30 pp. We had a wonderful afternoon, the restaurant is beautiful and quirky, the staff and service they provided was fabulous. Long may they continue with the pizza wizardry!
Thanks to trip advisor for recommending Twentymans Easy to book, very warm welcome. Decor is ‘industrial’ and very fitting, pizzas were gorgeous, prepared fresh and presented in good time. Value for money was decent and well worth it. If we are back in Leigh we will definitely pay this place a visit.
We booked a table for 5 on a Saturday afternoon, there was one waiter and the chef working, it wasn't too busy. The 2 guys were lovely. The pizza was incredible, best we have ever had (and we love pizza). The decor is beautiful. Give this place a go it won't disappoint. Réservez une table maintenant
