Upon our arrival, we experienced rushed service from a pushy server who rushed us to make a decision on our food order. Despite having a large booking, we were told we had to have the all-you-can-eat option, which was expensive for some in our group who didn't want it. Additionally, when we ordered drinks, the waitress rudely poured the remaining drinks into our glasses without asking. The overall experience felt rushed with no pleasantries or time to enjoy our courses. At the end, we were overcharged and disputed a charge for an extra drink, but our concerns were not addressed. Despite these issues, we would consider returning to the restaurant.
We have been loyal customers of TY8 for many years because of the delicious food and wide variety of choices. However, this was our first visit in a while and we were surprised to see a significant increase in prices - nearly £28 per person for a Saturday night meal. While the food was still delicious, we felt that we did not get good value for the higher cost. The appetizer options were good, but we noticed that the selection of main courses had been reduced. Unfortunately, due to the expensive prices, we have decided not to return to TY8 in the future.
my wife found this restaurant online as she was looking for a Good vegan Asian restaurant. This place had great reviews so we tried it out. it didn’t disappoint. The food was fantastic and it was very friendly service. It’s hard to find food of this quality even in large cities, so Margate should consider themselves very lucky indeed! The only downside was that we walked past it twice as the restaurant’s front was very poorly lit! They were most helpful when we rang though and offered to come out and get us if we missed it again. Highly recommend!
You 'd be forgiven for thinking that this place was just another fast food place. We ate great tasting quality vegan food for a reasonable price. We ordered a la carte, but there is an Asian Adventure option to eat all you want. These dishes are freshly cooked to order, and no take away boxes! The staff were helpful with a food allergy too. Don 't miss out!

Although the prices have gone up quite a lot, the food is still very tasty. We ordered lots of starters and the fact you can ask for individual portions is amazing. My partner doesn't like fish so I could order prawn tempura for one (which i recommend. Service great and atmosphere was nice. Also recommend salt and pepper beancurd..
Food was terrible, everything was dry and over cooked. So being pregnant I mentioned it as we go there all the time and the food is usually amazing, the lady was very rude and said we were wasting her food on purpose and that we should get out. Disgusting restaurant disgusting service wouldn’t recommend
The worst meal we have had in a long time , everything very dry for that price should be perfect, staff did nothing about it when we complained, will never go back , they dismissed our complaint don’t waste your money
The food and service at this restaurant are always excellent, never disappoints. The menu has a great selection of dishes, although the prices have increased like everything else, it still offers good value.
