Oh dear, disappointing. We went here and was seated right away without a reservation. The restaurant is a traditional local restaurant that specializes in Crepes, for mains and desserts. But there is an extensive menu too. The general consensus from our party was the that savory crepes just didn't work for our taste buds. I suppose were just not used to it. Some of us had a meal for a main, and no-one was that thrilled with those either. The dessert crepes were absolutely fantastic though and everyone enjoyed them. The Peach Melba crepe was the best by a long way. The biggest issue was the fact the we just didn't feel as we welcome in the restaurant. The lady who served us (who I assume is p...

we were staying at a hotel just down the road and found this as the first restaurant / bistro / cafe that looked OK. It is a very stereotypical French bar / restaurant - an acceptable selection of food, served quickly (I suspect microwaved, not freshly prepared) and in a friendly manner. The owner / barman had, I am sure been sampling the drinks! Probably the cider, which is very good. My wife said her turkey escalope seemed a little overcooked and tough, but my Scallops were perfect. Not expensive and on that basis, good value. Just don;t expect Cordon Bleu food and silver service.

Visited this restaurant with our two visiting granddaughters on a very, very wet fete day in Ducey. One girl and husband had moules et frites, and the other girl and me had a galette with a Tartiflette filling. We all thoroughly enjoyed our meals, and the staff were very friendly, even if we had to ask for bread twice. The only complaint, from husband, was the price of the beer, which he thought was a bit on the pricey side. But we'd definitely go again. Tasty grub competitively priced! Not sure what all the complaining was about. The hostess was friendly, helpful and efficient while not being anything but accommodating. We simply had savoury galette and salad for lunch, but both were quick, well prepared and tasty given the simplicity of preparation. Not fine dining, but that was not what it pretended to be.

Since the owner is very temperamental I would advise people to give this restaurant a miss. The prices are above the average and the owner seems to want everyone to sit outside so as to avoid unnecessary cleaning.

At 145pm the lady told us we could only have galette as the kitchen was closed. Others were mid-meal! Then she told us we couldn't sit where we wanted but had to sit where she said. We left in disgust. No wonder the French economy is woeful. Réservez une table maintenant

Very firendly with a lovely atmosphere, food great !! the galettes are a must !! Within easy reach to the hotel so no driving is required. Just check times if thinking of eating there on a sunday.
