This is a wonderful place to eat in a quiet and leafy area just south of Kelvingrove Park. My family and I have spent a lot of time in eastern Europe and the food they serve here is exactly as it should be. The portions are generous and good value. Excellent borscht for only about a pound a bowl. Good range of Polish beers. I really appreciated that even the potatoes tasted like the ones you get in Poland they are usually so hard to find in the UK. The restaurant is in a cellar and has a friendly, cosy and relaxed atmosphere. Will come again. Thank you.
My sister had already been with her husband and wanted to go back, so we booked five of our family for a birthday lunch. The food was delicious and plentiful and the staff were very pleasant and helpful when it came to giving us information on dishes on the menu. I would definitely recommend a visit if you're at Kelvingrove Art Gallery, it's only a five minute stroll away. The potato pancakes and beef stew are highly recommended, totally yummy!
The restaurant offers delicious food at an affordable price in a laid-back setting. The potato pancakes and dumplings were especially outstanding. We also loved the pork medallions with mushrooms and the beef stew. The vegetable sides that accompanied the mains were excellent as well. Although we had trouble finding the restaurant at first, we were delighted that we decided to give it a try. The homemade juice was also very tasty.
Having visited Poland a number of times and also loved the food I was a bit apprehensive on how this restaurant was going to be. WOW, it is amazing!! Not on the main road so looks like someones house, family run and you feel like you are going for a meal in someones house, delicious food, great prices and lovely staff! Lots of polish people were in restaurant at same time so that's a good sign!

Found this eatery by chance due to the wonderful aromas wafting outside. we went downstairs to find a truly authentic polish restaurant, warmly welcomed by Bozena and Piotrek and ordered the borscht soup along with the beef soup, both exceptional, mains were equally fantastic, the bill was perfect and by the time we were leaving the place was filling up, a great find !!!
The polish stew is the best meal in the world. I have it every time I go and I’m never disappointed. I love it. We usually have the cottage cheese pierogies too which don’t sound like much but they’re soooo good. It does feel like you’re in someone’s house basement but that’s part of what I love about it. I can’t recommend this place enough. Great value too :0)
If you are visiting the Kelvingrove museum, this is likely one of the best places to have lunch. I had never tried Polish food before, but the meal here, particularly the duck, was exceptionally delicious. This hidden gem is located in the basement, so it may be a bit tricky to find at first.
Very good restaurant. The staff are friendly and attentive and the service efficient. The food is excellent well cooked and reasonable portions. I had the clear red borsch and beef stew and can thoroughly recommend them.

Fress traditional Polish food, a family run this exceptional restaurant, my favourite in Glasgow. Pierogi, steak tartar and beef stew pankakes is a must. Good service and good price too.
