Umeya - Réserver une table

The first time last weekend here. It was probably the best sushi I ever had. People need to understand that this is not one of those taking places with a huge menu with crazy fusion roles (not that I am), this is a simple and authentic Japanese place. Definitely on the expensive side, but the quality was amazing. You know, it will be great if the sushi cook adds the Wasabi and soy sauce for you (which was the perfect amount). The sushi rice was also perfectly seasoned. I look forward to coming back!

Clean restaurant. The service was very attentive to not existent. Fresh food with high quality ingredients, but portion size was questionable according to dish. It was missing in the season. Lachs-Sushi 5 ways was quality, but too subtle and almost tasted the same. Mochi ice cream was disgusting. Buying is better. Maybe try again to see how the other menu items are.

This place is a hidden gem... I almost hesitate to tell people about it because I selfishly want it to stay a local secret. The fish quality is always top of the line and the pricing is fair.

Authentic quality Japanese sushi. Not your typical fast food sushi. Classic and feels like you stepped in Japan!
