I have been going to this restaurant for years and I love their consistency! From the taste to the service, I can honestly say every time is a good time . I love to see a restaurant that can pull off this type of standards regardless of the neighborhood, they are proof that if you live in Queens there is no reason to go to the city to get a good restaurant experience. I’d say the food is AMAZING and have never ever ever had a complain BUT what makes me come back is knowing that I’m welcomed with big open arms from all the people who work there and to me that’s a big thing. Looking forward to more years and dinners at Uncle Peter’s
I used to love this place. But a few things bugged me: Pork chops weren't awesome, as they used to be; Very little flexibility (wouldn't give spinach instead of boring mixed vegies, no refills on iced tea, wouldn't give a dessert of mixed berries, although they had berries in the house). I know this is my own pet peeve, but they don't offer any whole wheat pasta option. I'll go back, as even with my picky nits, it's still a very good restaurant. It's just frustrating, as it could be absolutely great. The servers are great and the atmosphere is perfect.
We had relatives in town staying near LaGuardia overnight and needed to find a place nearby. We found Uncle Peter's and are really glad we did. We were a big group and excited to be together for their last night in NY so we weren't the easiest table to manage, but the staff made us feel completely comfortable. The food and wine were seriously good and the overall experience was terrific. I'd recommend this place to anybody. If it was in our Manhattan neighborhood, we'd be regulars.
Excellent fresh food, always delicious literally everything on the menu never unsatisfied! The service is fantastic, not pushy, clean, attentive. Drinks are great not watered down. The owner Patricia is fantastic you can tell she puts alot of work into the place menu. Defintely a true neighborhood gem. Make RSVP it gets busy!

Uncle Peter's has been a family favorite for years. It is our go to spot whether it is a special occasion or we just want to have a great meal. The staff have been working there for years and know us as soon as we walk in. It is one of those places that you keep talking about the food after your leave.
The staff at this restaurant is extremely friendly and always makes my family feel welcome. The waiters provide excellent recommendations, and the specials are typically the best choice.
The food was absolutely wonderful! We had mussels and goat cheese fritters for appetizers and we were sold! Everyone one left happy and full! Highly suggest a visit!
Wait staff were grumpy and not that attentive. They threw the plates on the tables. The food I had has too much cheese. It was tasted like a bad Mexican food.
