Uncle Vinnie's Clam

We have never been disappointed by this large area of Italy/Seafood Square, where everyone knows your name. It's best to try them first on a week because it can be quite waiting if you just wait around 7 on a Friday, but worth waiting anyway. I'm almost hesitant to give the accolades Lois and Louis and their team at Vinnie's, because it means that more people get my place in the bar. The best of the house: Clams Oreganato, Ceaser Salad, all on the special menu or try the calimari fra diavalo over linguini. Your red sauce honored us. And another thing I love about Uncle Vinnies...

Great service, good amount, decently expensive. We picked up the beer from Uncle Vinnie's Muschelbar and sat at this place for appetizers. Very attentive service, they cleaned the beer bottles almost instantly, cleaned the used plates, and they didn't make us have only starters with beer that we got from other places (although we were only there for starters). The whole experience was good, although we don't end up eating more seafood, which is good. We had crabcakes, mozerella sticks and chicken teeth.

Right next to their restaurant. This little gem is a BYOB with food just as good as next door. They lean to more sandwiches and casual fare, but the flavor and freshness of the seafood is excellent. I could drink their tartar sauce. You can also buy alcohol from the restaurant to bring to the market.

Good restaurant. A dozen oysters is $21, fried Calamari $13.5, pasta special $26. Fresh and affordable. Eating is 5 stars, service is 3 stars, average 4 stars
