our waiter jon is fantastic. very knowledgeable and accommodating. we bought the cooking menu. I have to say in contrast to visit others were most plates delicious, but some were a miss. The highlights include a caviar-lined, picked foie gras and a spoon with rohem quailei, which also has caviar. I recommend uni. it's a real tasty bite every time we eat there.

overall, disappointed in our selection, especially given its priziness. among the disappointments were the maine uni (left a lingering ful, fishy taste in the mouth,) the spicy thunfish (surprising bland,) wagyu steak tartare(bland and unimpressiw,) hearts of palmsalat(we had hoped for an interesting vegetarian grooming to our entrées nuhow, but it fell.

Food was amazing, definitely overpriced and long wait times, but the service was great and most of the menu items were amazing!

great food! the fried chicken beans were phenomenal. the whole sushi we had was incredible and our server was great!
