Went here for dinner on a Saturday night. Easily made reservations via Resy. We were a little early for our reservation, but they still seated us immediately. They also have a cute full service bar top to eat at as well. The food is wonderful and the service was divine. We ordered the Schiacciata appetizer, octopus appetizer, arugula salad and beet salad, the torchietti raft AND the chicken entree. That's plenty of food for 2 people! We also ordered the bread pudding for desert. Once you've put your order in, things come out as they're ready, so if you order a lot like we did, be sure to pace yourself! We definitely indulged, but we don't go out often, so this was a very nice splurge.
My partner and I came here for an anniversary dinner, and we were very impressed. We were sat quickly, our servers were attentive and service in general was MUCH faster than most places I’ve eaten. We were most impressed with the Local Mushrooms and the Japanese Sweet Potatoes, they were both delicious and I recommend them. We also enjoyed the Pork Meatballs, but you should know they are BIG. They came out first, so be careful and remember to save space for the rest of your order! Finally, we were recommended the Torchetti and it was good! but not our favorite item of the night. Overall I highly recommend this as a dinner date, we had a wonderful time.
The best thing I found regarding this restaurant is how they treated my father. He's elderly and handicap. And a lot of times, I feel like restaurants sit us in the back, because they don't want guests to see an elderly person. Not here. And I really appreciate them for the service they provided for him. I won't have him around forever, and it was nice to share a moment with him at this restaurant. The food here was exceptional. I had the snow peas and the local mushrooms and the squid ink pasta. Everything was amazing.

Hostess was very rude she gives this place a bad first impression so just ignore her and enjoy the rest of your visit... Food is incredible! Everything here is made from scratch. Loved the bread, pasta, and mushroom appetizer. Waitress was wonderful. Will definitely be back and hope the hostess is replaced in time for the next visit.
The tender pork meatballs, the incredible lasagna with morales mushrooms, homemade ricotta, and pesto, and the hazelnut chocolate pastry that tasted perfectly like Roche chocolate were all delicious. Outstanding cuisine. highly recommended! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
We had such a wonderful time at Union, we were able to be seated right when it opened without a reservation. The service and food were top notch! Some of the dishes had a Peruvian twist and I tasted new flavors I haven't had before. Will definitely be coming back for more!

Top notch everything. Best restaurant in Pasadena. Small unassuming but the food is some of the most delicious food I've had in a while.
