The highlight of this restaurant is the friendly staff. I wouldn't recommend the food. Instead, I suggest heading next door to the market and picking up a frozen pizza. It's the same experience at a lower cost. The combination of New York and Chicago style should have been a giveaway. The staff is welcoming and nice.
The spaghetti was overly salty, and the meatballs tasted stale instead of fresh like they usually do. It seems like Union is slipping in quality. Perhaps they're cutting corners due to having too many customers now.
The pizza was enjoyable, however, the woman at the counter was extremely impolite when we kindly requested paper plates. She gave my friend a disdainful look as though we had asked her for money.
I was disappointed that my deep dish crust was overcooked this time. It was the first time I've had this issue after many previous orders. Réservez une table maintenant
