The setting is historic. Chunky dark wood and stained glass. The food and cocktails are exceptional! We tried a basil margarita, which was hand crafted. Everything from scratch! Delicious! A mojito which was also great! The Flatbread pizza was tasty, the lamb chops were devine, the rib eye was charred and cooked perfectly. The fettuccine with crab meat and shrimp, artichoke hearts and sun dried tomatoes in a lobster cream sauce was awesome! Everything looked and tasted better than we envisioned! We were very impressed. Highly recommend. Would definitely eat there again!
Had a great experience here tonight. It was a Monday afternoon and our usual places in town were all closed. We decided on the Union Hotel because it was open and didn't look to busy. We opted to eat outside due to the fact it was a nice day. The atmosphere was nice and relaxing. The food was all very good. I had the special brown butter sage butter but squash ravioli and my fiancé had the filet with the spinach salad. Thank you for a very plesant afternoon.
While the Union Hotel itself has gotten run down and not a great place to stay, the bar and restaurant are great! We ate there with our daughter and her boyfriend while we were visiting in Benicia. The drinks were fantastic as were the appetizers and the dinner itself. We each had something different and every dish was delightful! We would highly recommend this bar and restaurant to anyone living in or visiting Benicia.
This charming local restaurant offers fantastic food. We started with the mushrooms in a red wine sauce (not shown in the photo), which were outstanding. For our main courses, we enjoyed the dry-aged ribeye and the salmon, both of which were delicious. Despite having only one server for the entire restaurant, he was extremely hardworking and provided excellent service. We will certainly return!

Wife and I were out for a walk this afternoon and decided to stop by for a little lunch and people watching. We had the mushroom appetizers and a mushroom, arugula, shaved Parmesan pizza with truffle oil. Really good food and good drinks, mojito and ****** Mary.
Wow! The food was amazing! Three of us dined here and shared our dishes, and all three meals were outstanding. I don't think you can make a bad choice on the menu, and the prices are very reasonable for the quality of the food. We will definitely be back!
Gorgeous! Incredible living history and delicious dinner! Meals a little pricey but very much worth it with fresh high quality ingredients. I just got a caesar salad and pizza cause I'm cheap, but it was amazing. I'll be back for an entree
We had our son’s graduation party here. Gabby and crew were extremely efficient, professional and helpful! Food and ambiance was great!
