I took the GO train from downtown to Unionville (and returned by GO bus). Despite being just 40 minutes away, it felt like I was transported to a completely different city within Markham. The quaint Main Street is filled with charming restaurants and ice cream shops, exuding a historic atmosphere due to the majority of buildings being over 100 years old.

Finally we make our way to this adorable little bit of old-fashioned village living. White picket fences adorn some properties. Shops and businesses all over the main street. What a sweet place to visit in the fall. Great for photos and old-time country charm.Would love to meander more and hike the area.

The main street of Unionville is beautifully decorated with huge flower baskets all along the avenue. Lots of restaurants to choose from as well as coffee shops, ice cream shops and clothing. A great place to stroll on a summers day. Sundays there is a farmers market too.

Il give Main Street Unionville 5/5. It's a very pretty street. If you like old buildings, red bricks, cobblestone walkways, flowerpots you will Definitely like this place. All the restaurants there are good and the shops are very unique and interesting. Réservez une table maintenant

We much preferred our visit here compared to the big city of Toronto. We walked around the town, browsed and shopped at the many little stores, and stopped for a bite to eat. It was a kick-back, easy going kind of day in a quaint little town.

This little area looks as if would not be out of place in Disnayland, with its quaint old buildings and atmosphere. A great place to walk around and enjoy a trip down memory lane. Quaint shops cafes and restaurants.

Get away from the high speed at highway 7. Great to walk, window shop and have dinner or just stop for a coffee and relax. Visit the Old Country Inn for dinner or lunch.
