Unplugged A Board Games Cafe

We discovered Unplugged on a recent trip to the Fredericton area. The weather had been cold & rainy for days so we ventured in. We had a fantastic time! There were tons of games to choose from, including adult & family friendly. We stayed for 3 hours! There is a small cover charge and a menu of different "gourmet" grilled cheese sandwiches and fancy hotdogs (a kid menu is also available). The food was good but certainly not diet friendly. We weren't there for the food though. My boys got to play games like Mousetrap & the Game of Life. We even added a new one to our lives. The staff is very knowledgeable about the games so are very helpful. It was a fabulous way to spend our evening!

Let me just start by saying this- I love it here. My boyfriend, His brother and Girlfriend and I headed downtown for a double date of sorts. After grabbing something to eat, we headed over to Unplugged. As teenagers, we are so used to focusing on our phones; true connections are rare. This cafe does exactly as promised. It brings people together. We had a great time. The cafe has hundreds of games, and it favourite was "Cards against humanity." We easily spent two hours here, and could've spent much longer if not for time restraints. I highly recommend coming here!

Went here for the first time tonight with my son and we loved it. You pay a small entry fee to play games plus you can buy food and drinks. They have a huge selection of games. The best part is that the man working will help recommend games should you need it and even explain how to play them which is great because I am not the best at reading the rules. Love this as a date night option with my son who doesn't like movies.

What a great hangout spot. This place has a great atmosphere with any board game you can think of. The food is tasty although its alot of snacky and finger foods. This place is family friendly but also serves alcohol for gatherings with friends. Great prices and very friendly staff. Réservez une table maintenant

If you have kids, on a rainy day this place would be perfect. You can order food and play board games. The food isn't very healthy but it is delicious. Fun games, good food. The service was ok. We had to wait about 5 minutes until the man noticed us there.

We decided to do this this past Saturday. Overall we had a blast! The men working there were very nice and personable. The rates were great! Enjoyed the 5 hours we spent there on Saturday! Highly recommend doing this some evening with a group of friends!

We took our two & four year old here one afternoon on a whim. They absolutely loved the board games & the kettle chips were top notch. Much thanks to the wonderfully patient staff.

Fredericton definitely needed a place like this. I wish I had the recipe for the hummus, some of the best I've ever had. my non veg friends raved about the grilled cheeses as well Réservez une table maintenant

Awesome place to spend time with friends and family! Large selection of board games. Very friendly easy going staff and great food as well.

it was ok games were up to date, service was friendly, but the menu was lacking, Nothing really on the healthy side for a menu
