"Restaurant- friendly staff, helpful, good choice of adult child meals. Good portions. Recommend will return. Campsite- improvements have been made since our last stay. Pretty fishing lake. Toilets showers kept clean. There’s a swimming pool. Key entry to help with site security. We liked the floodlight near the toilets, it definitely helped with seeing in the dark! Water did come in under our tent from the rain, not the sites fault. Will be staying again."

Angie who appears to run the site is so helpful friendly!! She reacts instantly to any issues raised in a friendly manner. There’s a key so only cars which are camping can enter the site. There’s a very pretty fishing lake with many ducks ducklings in which we’re lovely to see hear. You are on a farm so do get camping smells the sounds of various farm animals The pool itself looks clean. I think the cover could do with removing, its disintegrating onto the floor below it, I think if anyone tried to unroll the cover it would disintegrate completely rather than be of any use. The pool is very well priced at £2.50 per adult £1.50 per child. Our pitch was a good size, even though we felt on top...

The welcome to the camp site was informative and the lady was friendly despite it being quite late on the friday of a very hot day and she was clearly exhausted! Showed to our pitch which was a great size, level, well kept field. However, the wash facilities weren't great 2 toilets and 2 showers each for men/women, not enough and had to wait on numerous occasions...not good with 5 and 3 year old children. Generally clean-ish, although on one occasion the gents had a lot of excrement all over one cubicle! The building was pretty decrepit and looked like the ceiling was about to cave in on the ladies. Only 1 wash up sink (right next to the ELSAN waste which wasn't pleasant!! and in the 6 times...

We as a family have been staying here most weekends for the best part of 12 months. If your looking for a haven site that's full of mod cons and your always giving your children money for arcades etc then this is not for you. If your looking for a traditional friendly site where there is always someone to help nearby then Upton is your place. The food in the restaurant is good quality and staff really lovely. Currently looking out of the rainy caravan window to the ducks just below the window and listening to the birds in the nearby trees. I have never been to the shower block's or toilets and they have been dirty apart from one time when it looked like a child had a struggle with toilet pap...

We paid £30 for the night, which was the same rate as a bank holiday. We expected fully serviced pitches for that price, but instead, we had low power output that kept cutting out. We didn't use the fishing pond, but we saw that it was dirty with planks of wood floating around. The swimming pool had a strong chlorine smell and green water, so we decided not to let our dog or child swim in it. The toilets and showers were dirty and smelly, so we opted to use the shower in our van. The Elsan point was not the best and located next to the pot washing station, which was not hygienic. There were old caravans scattered around with grass growing up the sides, giving the impression of a caravan grav... Réservez une table maintenant

Well end of the season is almost here. But we will be back. Made lots of friends, this is the kind of site that camping all about. If you want glamping then stay away, but if you want good old fashioned friendly atmosphere and willing to join in the fun then everyone is made to feel welcome, not only from the staff but the regular campers. Yes the site has a few things that require attention, but mention any complaints to staff and they do there best to put them right, obviously at times there may be problems but it isn't that the same anywhere, the staff are working hard to make improvements across the site, but as they say Rome wasn't built in a day.

The campsite is overall okay, but it is located in a remote area and access requires driving down single track roads. The facilities are lacking, particularly the swimming pool which appears to be in a dilapidated greenhouse with broken glass and green water. It does not appear to be sanitary as there is no noticeable presence of chlorine. The washing facilities are located in the open near the elsan point, which may not meet hygiene standards. The toilets and showers on site are reported to be disgusting. For the price of £30 per night, better quality is expected. There are better campsites available and I would not choose to return to this one.

I visited Upton Barn for the first time two weeks ago and loved it so much that I have decided to keep my caravan on site! Angie and her family are incredibly welcoming and lovely, and the food is delicious. Joey's bar is a fantastic spot for getting together and dancing, with great lighting and music creating a lovely atmosphere. The site itself is peaceful and relaxing, with friendly people and a beautiful lake - my husband has even started fishing there! I consider everything a positive, especially since other local sites do not offer a pool, bar, restaurant, or club. I cannot understand the previous negative comments.

Stayed here with 11 family members from Friday-Sunday. Had a fantastic weekend from start to finish. Staff are very welcoming, food is amazing the site is fantastic for the kids to let off some steam on the playing field then this is the place to go. The lake is well stocked with fish, there's also a swimming to use for a small fee. If your a member of the caravan club want all the mod cons of haven then this is not the place for you! But this site is a little piece of heaven 30 minutes away from Birmingham. Can't wait to return with more family next time. Thanks to Angie the team Réservez une table maintenant

We stayed here as a family group and unanimously would not return. This is a site to keep away from. The caravan and camping area is OK and fishing lake is good but rest of facilities are very poor. 2 toilets and showers each for men and women for site. The washing up area was one sink right next to elan disposal out in open. The standard of fittings and buildings were like 1970's DIY. The swimming pool has health and safety issues and overall the facilities on site were not very clean. Again the bar and restaurant were very dated and bar staff not very welcoming.
