With both of us craving tacos and thinking of places on our wish list that we haven?t tried yet, we went to Uptown Tacos in Floral Park. And it was a great choice! From the yummy chips to the excellent drinks (Spicy Margarita and Mezcal Mule) to the fantastic tacos to the cool atmosphere, everything was simply great! We tried five different tacos from the versatile menu and each one was so good we forgot to take pics lol. Joe also loved the sweet plantains side and ended up saving some for tomorrow. We will absolutely be back, highly recommended!!
This restaurant is a hidden gem in the heart of Floral Park. Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed and received excellent service. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, with a super clean restaurant and bathrooms. We ordered the mac n cheese with bacon quesadilla, lobster taco, rice n beans, guacamole, sweet plantains, and two margaritas. The portion sizes were perfect and the prices were just right. We will definitely be returning and highly recommend this restaurant.
Very popular spot! It helps to make reservations. Tight dining room area but they do have a tented outdoor patio. Plenty of friendly staff/managers around, checking in. The food comes out fast! The quesadillas are huge and a crowd pleaser. Its a tough decision when picking out tacos, it's a diverse menu. The Mediterranean shrimp taco was a top pick. Their Buffalo chicken/Cauliflower tacos are spicy! Big fan of their (strong! margaritas, good balance of sweet/citrus.
Now this place is not where you would go for authentic Mexican, but I can assure you that there is delicious food being made here. Only pictured are two tacos: chiccarron and Mexican cheese steak. These two were incredible bites. The wings and quesadillas are also excellent! Although my only complaint is the high prices but it certainly isn't a big deal since they're dealing with quality food.

This restaurant is fantastic. The food is delicious and the servings are very generous. The prices are also very reasonable and it's a perfect spot to go with friends. We decided to come here on a whim after getting our nails done nearby and it was definitely worth it. I highly recommend trying the avocado fries!
I have ordered from this restaurant multiple times. Unfortunately, the last few times, the food arrived cold. The tacos were flavorful but overly salty. The kids' meal includes a healthy fruit option, but the excessive saltiness detracts from its health benefits. High sodium levels are unnecessary for anyone.
We stopped by Uptown Taco and were impressed with their vegan menu, offering three different tacos. They were accommodating by serving the crema and queso on the side for the nachos. Even though my family is not vegan, we all enjoyed the tacos and quesadillas.
Best Saturday lunch ever.... Bill and his team looked after our family group so well. The plantains were amazing.... Tacos were full of flavour with great presentation.. I loved the decor and the restrooms were spotless..would highly recommend...

I had a fantastic experience at this restaurant! The atmosphere was lively, the staff was friendly, and the service was outstanding. The food was absolutely amazing. I can't ask for anything more. I will definitely be returning in the future.
