Urban Coalhouse Hoboken

The service at this restaurant was extremely disappointing. The waitress had a nasty attitude for no apparent reason and never checked on us during our meal. We had to get up several times to ask for utensils, water, menus, and even the check. The restaurant was nearly empty, and instead of attending to us, she was just standing around chatting. I wouldn't recommend this place if you're looking for a nice spot to have a meal.

The best place to go with small kids! Great, friendly staff and the food is consistently good! We have been to this place a lot so that’s a review in and of itself. After having a little one it has been difficult to find places to accommodate having a stroller. Urban has been so amazing with not just having one stroller but accommodating several moms with several strollers.

The servers needs to learn to be attentive to their customers. Chose to move on to another place to have drinks after dinner due to the fact that it was quite difficult to get anyone’s attention to put in more drink orders. The food was delicious however, the service was disappointing.

Pizza was fantastic and the service extremely friendly. We sat outside and really enjoyed our meal. We love that they are also dog friendly. Tasty food, cold draft IPA beer and delicious pizza; what more could you ask for! Réservez une table maintenant

The coal-style pizza is decent, but the sauce-to-cheese ratio is off. Every bite has too much tomato sauce and doesn't taste enough like pizza. They should adjust this balance and add more cheese.

I ordered the gluten-free coal-fired pizza in medium size, and it was incredible. My friends enjoyed it so much that they ended up eating my pizza. The meatballs were outstanding as well!

Overall, our experience was just average. Given that we spent $200 for a lunch for three, we expected a better quality meal. The pizza, in particular, was quite disappointing.

The wings were outstanding! The pizza was fantastic as well. They were very accommodating regarding my son's multiple food allergies.

Service was good and food came out quick. Pizza and salad was good, chicken fingers just ok. Had to send back first batch.
