AUG 2022 Update Response to Mgmt Due to the emotional insulting response of the new mgmt., I have reduced my review to 1 star. This is a drastic change from the service I received in June on my original trip. As you all can see for yourself by theresponse, there is no sincere apology but a defensive response. Smh. I ordered in the dining room, and I was with two otherpeople in June (One of which shared the ranch wings with me). The last visit I was also with another person as well. I have noreason to lie on your business and this review to let others know about MY experience. This was the place I choose to go fordinner on my birthday! So that says how much I liked it originally. I picked it as a compliment, so to say I am raciallymotivated is another misstep by this mgmt. When a person is looking for food that is cooked or taste a certain way, by a certainculture, which most restaurant advertise in their name or description, like the name URBAN CAFÉ? then the public should know IFthis is NOT exactly the case! If you feel that is not accurate, then I suggest you get some type of racial relations training. I did not order a mint lemonade, but a sweet, iced tea, so I have no idea what this reference is regarding. And the $6 referencewas from the 1st trip in June and not the July visit. It is clear you need to calm down and actually read the review (there were2, now this will be a 3rd revision). If you think your staff only deserves praises all the time, then this also shows that youhave a skewed view. I never scolded anyone, I simply said the food was not good and/or cooked well. That is a part of having abusiness sir! You should listen and take the advice and not argue online with customers. If you wanted to have a conversation,ask me to call or email you. Smh. Urban Kitchen Deli, located in downtown Cleveland is nothing short but exceptional. With a menu ranging from Rack of Lamb to 4 Cheese alfredo fettuccine with choice of chicken or shrimp, you really can 't go wrong. Also, they serve a hearty breakfast ALLDAY. With a menu to include Egyptian delicacies such as Molokhiya and Mashwi...there truly is something for everyone. Dine in,carry our or cater. Prices is fair, affordable and one of the beste places in the city to still offer corn beef. Stop by forBreakfast, Lunch or Dinner. You will be greeted from friendly staffed, immediately following an Excellent meal. Leadership andteamwork or vital and and with Owner Mohamed Sadek, making sure things run smoothly, you and your family are where you need tobe for exquisite dining. Staying in Cleveland for some appointments at Cleveland clinic and stopped in for an early lunch. Friendly helpful staff. We had the gyro omelette and corned beef hash with eggs. Everything was fantastic! I haven?t had corned beef hash this good inyears. Everything was flavorful and generously portioned. Grabbed a couple kids cheeseburgers for our kids to go. They wereequally as pleased not an easy thing to do. Will definitely be back when we?re back in town!
While at the Cleveland Clinic I asked around for good places to eat nearby. Most people referred me here. I was not disappointed! Great menu and good prices. I order the Yaz burger with bacon. Wow it was huge! Definitely did not disappoint.Even the breakfast menu looked really good. Next time I'm in town I'll be sure to stop by. Definitely worth coming here.
