I have family recently moved to the area , this cafe always appears busy so thought we would try it for breakfast . Staff were pleasant , coffee was just so , the menu is limited . We ordered the Avo on toast it was a very small serve the thin toast was like concrete very little avo and ordinary presentation. We also ordered the kale breakfast bowl , it was inedible the kale was wilted and soggy the contents of the salad were extremely unappealing and the dressing was rank . We did mention it to the staff and we didn't have to pay for the salad . Overpriced and very ordinary food . Nice staff and surroundings . Clearly something wrong in in the kitchen !
I went here with friends for a quick lunch. There was hardley anyone in so that was good. The display of the products were not very encouraging and there were only a few items on the display cabinet.They did have a more comprehensive menu list but we had no time spare to do our research.We chose our lunch and I paid. I was surprise at the cost of 3 rolls or baguettes or whatever you want to call them.By the time I had paid they were on the table so that was okay. When I bit into mine it was hard! No butter and it was chewy. Good job we had water to wash it down.Go back again? No.Back to Splash Juice bar as usual for quality and cost.
Going for a long walk in Melbourne I spotted this delightful cafe, the door was opened for me as I approached. The gentleman at the counter indulged me while I dithered on exactly what snack I wished. As I went to a table with a paper form the counter under my arm a chair was pulled out for me and a bottle (blue) of water was put in front of a girl who was very thirsty after a long walk, now that was total luxury.I had a coffee excellent and an orange and almond cake superb. Next time in South Yarra no questions where I will go
From the approach to the door, made feel welcome as the door was opened and the waiter escorted me to a table. All the staff were extremely pleasant and some even jovial.. so refreshing to have staff with a sense of humor and smiling.Despite a tempting menu, the resultant order of coffee and muffin was perfect: one of the best "cafe muffins" ever and the coffee blend was excellent both hitting the spot.Next visit to Melbourne will definitely include a side trip to South Yarra and my 'new fav cafe"

I've dropped by a couple of times for coffee and a quick snack so haven't seen their whole menu but based on service and location (and what I've seen on others' plates), it's a fab place. The footpath at this café is a little wider than others on Toorak Road so you're far less likely to feel like you're sharing your table with passing pedestrians while sitting outside. The coffee is great, the service is great and as I live locally, I'll most certainly be going back.
I have patronised the Urban Provedore many times over recent years for breakfast. This morning, Thursday 9/3, I recommended and invited a colleague to have breakfast there and we were the first customers in at 7am opening time.Other customers followed us in and food began arriving.What a mistake. Ordered at 7 am, followed up at 7.25am then left at 7.35 am. They had "lost" our order!New owners? New operators? No empathy.
From the moment we entered staff were friendly and efficient. Decor is modern and welcoming i had the warm salad kale, chick pea, chilli with egg delicious! Hubby had the big breakfast which he couldnt finish but equally yummy. Highly recommend this great cafe
Lovely food, great staff and service, good surroundings. Can sit outside. Would be here every day for breakfast if I lived in Melbourne. Can't fault it. Thank you for my first meal in Melbourne and my last before flying home, hope to be back next visit.

Had a delicious Eggs Hollandaise and fine coffee and received great service. My only quibble was the small serving plate which meant careful manoeuvring of the food. I'd certainly return!
Great fast service! Good food and nice coffee! Lovely barrister and waiters! Also great place to catch up on work stuff. You can buy home made jams here!!! Love it!
