I really enjoy the Salmon Bowl at this restaurant, but the excessive amount of sauce ruins its freshness and lightness. Sometimes, less is more, and in this case, the overload of sauce made the dish overwhelming. On the other hand, the Cilantro Chicken, Chocolate Chip cookie, Sea Salt Potato Chips, and Fruit Cup were all fresh and delicious. Unfortunately, the Salmon Bowl was disappointing as it tasted like it had too much mayo. I prefer it when it is done with just a drizzle of sauce.
My partner Raul and I often order from Urban. We typically enjoy their sandwiches. I usually order the Train Mi and he gets the So Cal. However, the bottom part of the sandwiches is often very soggy. I end up throwing away the broth because it makes the sandwiches feel like eating a sponge. The vegetables and dressing are always fresh and delicious. I hope they can improve their packaging or preparation to prevent the sogginess. We still want to continue being their customers.
Delicious! I went to Urbane Cafe for the first time today and I loved it. The sandwich I had was fantastic (served on focaccia) and came with a side of mixed green salad. They have unique and creative combinations, nothing ordinary here. The salads and bowls on the menu also sounded delicious. The staff was incredibly friendly and quick, adding to a great experience overall. I will definitely be returning in the future.
I typically don't order salads, but this place has changed my mind. I tried the cilantro chicken and southwest salads and loved both. The salad bowls are large and come with a side of soft focaccia bread. I was pleasantly surprised by the bread's texture. I appreciate that each salad comes with a unique dressing (cilantro and chipotle for the one I had) instead of the usual ranch. I will definitely be back for more. Réservez une table maintenant
The Cilantro Chicken and Santa Maria BBQ Sandwich were both fresh and delicious, as usual. Every dish I've tried at Urbane Cafe has been made with fresh ingredients and has been consistently delicious. I have so many favorites now that it's hard to choose just one. It's a great dilemma to have! Thank you Urbane for always providing fast, fresh, healthy, and tasty food. I can't wait for my next visit.
The Cilantro Chicken salad and Salmon Bowl with Fruit Cup, Sea Salt Potato Chips, and Double Chocolate cookie were amazing! They were fresh, light, flavorful, and very satisfying. I have always loved the salad, but now I will also be adding the salmon bowl to my list of favorites. It was just so delicious!
Salmon Salad was bland. Nothing to write home about. The Santa Maria BBQ Sandwich was decent besides the fact that paper for the cheese was still attach to the cheese. Fruit Cup was tiny but good. Very disappointed considering the price of food, missing item and long wait.
