Urbania Café Calle 8 Astorga

Urbania is a small and cozy shop where you can find specialty coffee from different origins (all of them Colombian , the atmosphere is really nice, and you can just relax and enjoy your time there with a nice cup of coffee and some pastries. The staff is very nice and friendly, and overall it is always a nice experience. On the other hand, I've found some consistency issues with their manually brewed coffee (chemex, drippers, french press... , you can have a great cup one day, and the next week order the same exact thing to find it has a completely different taste, same happens with their roasted beans, and even their bottled cold brew, which makes me think it's is a roastery problem and not...

We did a coffee tasting and preparation experience with Julian and it was AMAZING. He knows so much about coffee and is so precise in his preparation, he really knows what he's doing. We bought some whole beans to take with us to keep enjoying his talent as a barista when we go home. Highly recommend. Will probably return at some point to try the food.

What can I say, best spot in Poblado. The food is great and the best of value of all cafes of this nature in Medellin. I actually sit here some days for up to 5 hours working and get no problems from the staff. Though I do like to order as often as possible. The Tostada con Hummus is the best in town without a doubt. You have to pop by if your in town.

My favourite little cafe in Poblado. Firstly because they sell great coffee and cake but also because of the great location in Astorga. The employees are always friendly and their service always impeccable. The gratis biscuits melt in your mouth. Great neighbourhood cafe. Réservez une table maintenant

Since were in Colombia which is known for coffee, my Daughter and I thought to stopped by and each grab a cup. The place was chic and pricey, a very modern cafe located in a very quiet location, lovely place to relax and pass the time.

What a great place far from the busy streets and tourists. A place to take coffee and enjoy some very good and nicely presented food. Especially the brunch is a great value for money with fresh made food and fruits.
