Sabine and Pierre are wonderful hosts with plenty of stories from the rings they used to have in Spain. Pierre is a cook with passion and we talked at length about food, had a very good dinner (loved the Spätzle! , and even got to taste his excellent Goulash. With their easy going attitude and rich life experiences, it felt like meeting old friends. The hotel itself is quite traditional with lots of paintings to discover. Rooms are rustic, wifi works fine. There is a large garage to store bikes and charge the batteries. Breakfast was fantastic with local meats and cheese, yoghurt, homemade bread and jelly, and a really good coffee. Make sure you stop there just to taste Pierre’s dishes and h...
