My first time visiting V Lounge was quite impressive as soon as I walked in. The bar area was lovely, setting high expectations for the rest of my experience. However, no one escorted us to our table and we had to find it on our own, as it was the only one set up. Our waitress was friendly when she finally came out and asked if we were ready for starters. Unfortunately, two of the dishes were cold and had to be reheated. The mains were served in two separate rounds, with the rest of the food arriving 10 minutes later for no apparent reason as there were no other customers. The food was average, nothing exceptional. After going to the V Lounge on a few occasions, my husband decided to take his family who had not been here before for a meal. After calling the mobile numbers which was from their website, the man took our name and happily advised table was booked for 7.30pm. Upon arriving the following evening we went to the bar and told the 2 ladies that we had a table for 5 booked for 7.30pm, they both looked at each other and said Sorry but the chef is off ill .... and actually they had no bookings for tonight.... I ordered what looked to be a nice dish. Pork cutlet with bubble and squeak. Surely it 's a basic. You don 't serve pork 'pink '. Sent it back. Came back looking a little better but when I cut into the thickest part, it was still still 'wobbly '....horrid. This, unlike a steak, is not a choice of how you like it cooked...it 's a health hazard. Come on!!! I asked for the bill and it seemed I was still expected to pay the full price for food I had not (could not) eaten. I made a suggestion as to how much the meal was worth and it was accepted. If I 'd ordered something else i might have been happy. But 'pink ' pork? A rookie mistake.... A pity. Nice surroundings and very professional server.
I've been in this restaurant quite a lot for drinks only in the pleasant courtyard and decided to try the food which I had heard good things about. The bar area was very busy with only 1 member of staff so it took a little longer to get served than normal but was fine when the large group left. The menu is fairly small but reasonably priced. The food was excellent and was impressed with the size of the tapas. All our group had an excellent meal and enjoyed the atmosphere and friendly waitress. Look forward to our next visit.

Food is pretty poor. I had Tapas: chicken spring rolls (nice), camembert and toast (cold with rock hard bread), fried halloumi (nice but cold) and vegetable tempura (incinerated bits of veg without any kind of batter). The other half had meat balls and pasta; it arrived 15 minutes later and the sauce was quite bland. Shame really, because the venue is lovely and the young lady behind the bar was absolutely lovely.
We want to thank you for an incredible day. From the cocktails and canapés to the wedding breakfast and delicious champagne truffles, everything was top-notch. Our guests were thoroughly impressed, and the outside space was perfect for partying. We absolutely loved it.

We was disappointed that this bar wasn't open on a sunday evening, the night we went to the indian next door was a lovely sunny pleasant night, so it been open would have been nice!
I absolutely loved this place - it's very modern and has a wide selection of wines. Lee is a charming and knowledgeable man when it comes to his wines.

Food and service excellent whether you are eating in or taking out. Restaurant tastefully decorated, an overall great eating place.
I had a fabulous Sunday lunch here a couple of weeks ago absolutely delicious and a very good price. I'll definitely be back.
